Early 350/450 and Later 450/380 Differences

See below for detailed differences between an early 350/450 cluster and the later 450/380. Note that the back plastic is shaped in a subtly different (and incompatible) way between the two.

If you have this type of cluster, and you install a later one, you will have about a 1/2" gap between the dashboard and the bottom of your instrument panel!

There is also a substantial difference between the front piece of a later 450/380 and a 560. The front piece is attached differently to the back and the mounting screws and method are different, making them incompatible.

The instrument panel behind the front piece is also different; there are six, not four, idiot lights per side, and this is molded into the plastic.
