Differences between instrument clusters in 107 model years.
I tried to make these match the way these pieces of wood looked when they were "new" and the urethane,
or whatever, Mercedes put on them hadn't discolored. The image below demonstrates what the wood looks like UNDER
your 20+ year old finish. This was a solid piece of wood; I would not recommend trying to chip the varnish off
of a veneered piece, because the veneer is so thin.
